About Us
CyclOps opened in July 2001 as a “Wheels for All” centre. Wheels for All is an initiative of the Manchester based Cycling Projects and now has centres throughout the country.
Initially there were 15 cycles including machines funded by KPMG and Northern Rock and machines on load from North Tyneside Council.
In June 2003 CyclOps became an independent charity, Cycling Opportunities for All, and now has over 50 cycles including hand cranked machines, recumbent trikes, and normal bicycles and a rickshaw.
